Martin has been teaching my son drums for some time now, he is excellent at engaging with my son and making lessons interesting. My son enjoys attending lessons and his skills are improving week on week.

 

 

Martin is really easy to get on with, really patient, taught me how to play guitar and we had a great laugh every week in the process. Cannot thank him enough!!
 
 

 

 

Martin teaches my 10 year old daughter guitar. We have been going to him for the past few years. Every lesson is never the same and she absolutely loves it and can’t wait for the next one. Guitar isnt one of the easiest instruments to learn to play but she has always kept her interest. Martin is the most amazing teacher, my son started learning drums with Martin when he was 8, in the last 2 years not only has he progresses massively, he has added guitar lessons in too and is excelling at that. Not only does he incorporate any music my son wants to try, but he also manages to make it work with progressing through the gradings. Martin taught me drums since I was 10 and I’m now an adult. He kept me engaged in every lesson, allowed me to achieve my best and made it fun. Because of that I was able to achieve a merit in my grade 8 drum exam and I am forever grateful. I would recommend him to anyone who wishes to start drum lessons, you won’t regret it.
 
 

 

 

Martin teaches my seven year old son drumming lessons. He puts a lot of knowledge and years of experience into his lessons.
As a teacher he is excellent with him as he can turn off his ears sometimes and not listen, but Martin has patience and knows exactly what to say to him.
My son looks forward to every weekly lesson! And he's progressed so much. Can't recommend Martin enough.
 
 

 

I have been playing guitar for a number of years now and have often thought about having lesons but always put it off. With excuses like I would not be able to fit it in or I am a bit on the old side to learn any new stuff. Also a bit embarrassed at the level of my playing ability after more years playing than I will admit to. I have now taken that leap and loving the guitar again. From the star Martin has been nothing but encouraging and easy going with lesson planning, tailoring them to suit what I need to learn (and there is a lot) and arranging times that suit me around work and family commitments. I have not been having lessons long but I have made some great improvements. I have even started working on those chords and songs I had pushed to the back of the cupboard.
